• Analysis of qualities required for a modern Armenian intellectual
• Creating students with national and global perspectives, shaping the citizens of tomorrow to confirm their own judgment and actions with national and world interests
• Integration of the principles and methods consistently developed by the Lyceum aimed at discovery of intellectually gifted children and organization of their educational activities in the school and other educational establishments. These principles and methods are developed considering the students’ age-related psycho-pedagogical specifics, different intellectual levels, approaches demonstrated to them, as well as examination of the global experience touching the same issues
• Constant investigation and localization of international advanced pedagogical experience, reached results and developed standards, cooperation with the world’s highly ranked educational institutions
• Creating opportunity for the Lyceum graduates to continue their education in the world’s high standing universities
• Improvement of the Lyceum staffs’ competitive selection process to correspond to the requirements for the pedagogical and methodological quality standards
• Investigation of life and activities of Anania Shirakatsy and other Armenian and international history outstanding figures
• Examination of the national schooling history, particularly creating complete research and historical series relating to the history of lyceums
• Study of methodological specifics of questionnaire aimed at revealing the national intellectual potential in developed countries and localization of their experience adjusting by national and cultural singularities
• Ensuring constantly evolving, flexible structure for the Lyceum as well as stable financial condition to give the Lyceum better opportunities for engaging in creative and investigatory activities, involving the students in these activities
• Further improvement of the collaboration between the three fundamental blocks of classical pedagogy: the school, students, and the family
• Expansion of the students’ independence, responsibleness, academic integrity and self-determination
• Extension and enhancement of the Parents’ Institute activities,
• As a scientific and cultural center ensuring close cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, Matenadaran (Scientific Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts named after Mesrop Mashtots), other scientific and cultural establishments
• Sharing the scientific-methodological and teaching-nurturing experience of the Lyceum in educational environment
